Happy December! It is officially the holiday season and with that comes snow, sweaters, and soirees. This particular party setup caught my eye in a post from Turquoise Dreams. I have never seen a cuter table set-up. I would love to be invited to this get together! The event was put together by Tori of Sitting in a Tree Events and photographed by Joielala Photographie. It has so many great ideas for planning your own holiday party or just decorating your house for the season!

Will fill you in on more of our trip but wanted to show you a few images from the Bake Shop in Charleston, SC. They used all different moulding profiles to create this fun wall treatment. I am definitely going to steal this idea!

gotta love the french library sconce from Visual Comfort....would also love to see a cool oil painting below it....but it can hold it's own just as well.

Who says turquoise is only for girls? The bright pop of color can be an excellent addition to a boy’s room as well. This young boy’s bedroom designed by Liz Carroll keeps a very neutral white palette with accents of turquoise and orange thrown in to brighten the space. Any boy would be happy to wake up to such a fun and playful bedroom complete with colorful beanbags and a Jonathan Adler giraffe lamp!

Louise Body’s new collection of fabrics called “Still Life” is simply gorgeous. The colors are vibrant and fun and the patterns are great. I love the mix of organic natural shapes with geometrics. The designs have a hint of spring but still work into the turning fall season. The collection also comes in wallpaper designs that correlate and can be used together with the fabrics. These fun patterns will add life and vibrancy to any space!

Bathrooms can be the overlooked rooms in a house. However, they can be that unexpected pop of design to really add to the overall design of a space. This image I found is so unexpected and bright and melds the perfect mix of traditional and contemporary!
